Wardrobe Favorites of 2015
Wardrobe Favorites of 2015
As I’m sure you’re aware, every year Oprah publishes her “Favorites of the Year” and the products are almost always met with an amazing response… products sell out almost instantly, small business owners lives are changed over night, etc. I thought it would be kinda fun to do my own “wardrobe favorites of 2015” post as blogging has really forced me to analyze the things that I absolutely love and the things that I’m just so so about. After all, when sharing things with you here on the blog I only want to share clothes that I truly love and actually use or wear in my day to day life.
Like Oprah’s favorites, my wardrobe favorites of 2015 are kind of all over the place. However, they are all things that I truly love and find myself continually professing my love of to my sister, mom, coworkers you name it.
So without further ado…
OK, confession time… I’m a terrible daughter and totally bought this for my mom for her birthday and then “borrowed” it and kinda never gave it back… However, it’s the bag I carry every day for work, when traveling through the airport (it can fit an enormous amount of things: iPad, iPhone, water bottle, 25 random lipsticks, old candy wrappers, I digress), and it’s super cute. Seriously, the durability of this bag is astounding to me as it still looks brand new, and the color combos are just gorgeous and look like real soft buttery leather. Oh, and the price point is super affordable. This bag is similar and has praising reviews.
Ok, so this is another thing I didn’t actually buy for myself. I actually bought these for my sister for Christmas, but I’m now planning on purchasing a pair for myself in black or white (undecided) because she’s obsessed. She says they are the most comfy shoes she’s ever owned and she always tells her nurse friends about them. If you’re on your feet all day, or if you’re just looking for a cute new pair of sneaks, these are a great pair.
My favorite pair of black leggings. They fit at the right tummy height (I hate it when they cut in the wrong places), don’t slide down, and they are super comfy. If you don’t believe me read the Nordstrom reviews here. Also, I get that you can’t really see them, but I’m wearing them in the pic below.
Great for the mommies who want to look cute but don’t want anything popping out when chasing after kiddos. This was my favorite swim purchase of the year. Yes it’s more than I’m used to spending on one suit (I found it half off for you though!!) but its great quality and will last a long while. It’s also super flattering, sucks you in, and gives the girls a nice lift. It comes in a ton of colors and patterns… I love this one and this one too.
My first time buying expensive sunglasses, but I’m so glad I pulled the plug. These are super flattering on all face shapes, super light, and actually protect your eyes from the sun. It also doesn’t hurt that I instantly feel chic when I put them on.
These certainly aren’t for everyone, but they are my favorite “off duty” jeans. Here they are in black for almost half off.
