As I write this I have a two week old eight pound five ounce little sweetie laying on my chest making it really hard to get anything done other than cuddle with her. I can’t complain though, I intend to soak up those newborn cuddles as long as possible because I know they are fleeting. I mean George is far too busy to even think about cuddling with me these days. 🙁
I wore this dress often throughout my third trimester, but with the craziness of the last few weeks, I never got around to posting. However, since it works equally well for a post baby body (and the top pulls down easily for nursing which is a plus) I thought I’d share it here for all the mamas and mamas to be. I wore this dress last night to George’s school Easter egg hunt (which was totally adorable btw, although George was far more into opening up each egg and eating the candy than the actual egg hunt lol.)
I’m not going to lie, as I was getting dressed for the night I thought, “hey I’m not looking too bad in this” and then I saw the pictures and admittedly cringed a little bit. However, I’m trying not to put too much stress on the weight loss this time around. I know it will come off (slowly but eventually), so keeping up my milk production for the baby, and having the energy to take care of two kids is my biggest priority right now!
Thank you for stopping by! I’ll be posting Lily’s birth story in the next week or so, so stay tuned!
