(W Hotel: Buckhead) Wearing Diane von Furstenburg
Hello All! As is the case with the Holidays every year, our schedules have been pretty hectic around here lately (hence the lack of regular posting.) However, I wanted to share some iPhone snaps of our lives lately.
Last week mom and I went to Atlanta for the night because I had a meeting (I’ll hopefully be sharing more details on this in the New Year!) and it ended up turning into a little mother/daughter shopping trip. It was nice because we don’t exactly get a whole lot of those days now that I’m a mom and all. When I was in college in Athens, mom would drive up every week from Augusta to take me to my voice lesson in Atlanta. It was a serious commitment on her part (she did it so she could hear me sing), but I certainly miss those special times! We would always go shopping after my lesson (window shopping at Anthropologie mostly) and then would go eat at our favorite Greek place! Anyways, the reason for the little anecdote is that although the Holidays tend to be CRAZY, it’s important to slow down every now and then and actually spend some time with the ones you love! Ok, end cheesy note!
^^I’m kinda obsessed with that Pottery Barn lighting and think it would look awesome in my dining room! ^^We had the most amazing lunch at St. Cecilia’s in Buckhead. I had the spare rib ravioli and it was divine. I seriously inhaled it in like 30 seconds flat, and I’m pretty sure our waitress probably thought I grew up in a barn.
^^Before opening presents with my parents.
^^More of our Christmas table. I’m using my Grandmother’s Christmas china for the first time this year, which makes the decor feel even more special.
And that’s a wrap! I hope everyone has a fabulous week! We are headed to Florida in the morning and I still have a ton of packing to do 🙂
