Lace dress and Lace Up Sandals
Back again today with another springy look with this lace dress and lace up sandals! It was actually in the 60s today in Augusta and I am so so thrilled! There’s just something exciting about the changing of seasons that really brightens my mood! I also like spring/summer clothes like 10x better, so that has me super pumped for styling looks for the blog!
Anways, the dress I’m wearing here is so so beautiful in person… The intricate lace detailing and the empire waist make it really flattering and feminine. Also, it has that breezy boho vibe that I’ve really been gravitating towards lately. Wouldn’t it also make such a pretty Easter dress too? I like it with these lace up Sam Edelman sandals, but it would be equally cute styled with flat sandals and a denim jacket. Full disclosure though, it is way lower cut then I realized when I saw it online, so if you’re busty just be forewarned. I didn’t want it to be too revealing so I kinda pushed the girls to the side, but if you’re feeling the cleavage, just put on a sticky bra and do yo thang!
I hope everyone is having a great week! So kinda funny story… Tonight I was feeling pretty adventurous and decided to take George to dinner and Old Navy while Geordie had class. Dinner went pretty well (despite him only eating a rice crispy treat) but at Old Navy things took a turn for the worse. I’m talking all out blood curdling screams-back arched-throwing his baba (bottle) at the mirror tantrum in the dressing room. So naturally I packed up all our crap and just ended up buying a bunch of stuff to try on at home. Any of you other moms do this? My mom used to always just bring a bunch of clothes home to try when we were little, and now I totally understand why. To say shopping with a baby is stressful is an understatement!
Thank you for stopping by!
