Oh hey there Tuesday… We had a great family fall weekend. On Friday we went to dinner with some family that was in town at Luigi’s, and then had drinks at Craft and Vine and Stillwater . On Saturday I honestly wasn’t feeling to well from the night before (hello low tolerance from not drinking much anymore!) and we just kind of laid around and watched football and ate chicken wings, pizza, and Halloween candy. Side note, holy weekend weight gain batman.
On Sunday we attended our church homecoming, then afterwards we ate like a million and one delicious casseroles. Also, we tried our best to keep up with baby George running all over the place, but some battles can’t be won. Side note, I feel like we have reached full blown toddler status over here. I mean he is SO active, and is at the point where he pitches temper tantrums and acts like a teenager. Side note #2, ever since having a child I feel like when I’m in public or talking with a friend I probably seem rude or uninterested with the conversation. The truth is that in my head I’m going “where’s George, no don’t put that in your mouth, dear lord please don’t choke on the cornbread” etc. so it hard to hold an adult conversation.
On to the clothes though… I shot this off the shoulder dress with Whitney Wysong a few weeks ago, and love the versatility of this dress (you may have seen it in this post too.) The style, quality and comfort has proven that you can pay $30.00 and get a great dress you will wear over and over again.
I paired the dress with my favorite otk boots (also seen here and here.) I’m already getting such good wear out of these bad boys. For work today I wore them with jeans, a button down, and a sweater. For going out I’ll pair them with a flouncy dress and a leather jacket. The purse is my current favorite, (actually stolen from my mom, oops) and is such amazing quality for only $48! Seriously, I have been using the heck out of this thing traveling lately, and it still looks brand spanking new.
